DESCRIPTION
If looking for a new backpack for your daytrips to the beach and elsewhere, and you are concerned about plastic waste polluting the ocean, lakes and rivers, then the GOT BAG Pro Pack Backpack is for you. Adjustable and durable, this backpack looks great and is extremely functional with it's main compartment that can hold any <= 15" laptop / tablet, has five (5) slip pockets, a zippered lid compartment as well as a document sized front compartment, hidden back pocket, key chain and ergonomic shoulder straps. Dimensions are 18.5" H x 12.25" W x 6.25" D and it weighs just slightly > 2 lbs. .
Each Pro Pack Backpack is made from recycled ocean plastic as ~7 lbs of ocean plastic is recycled for each one. GOT BAG's network of 2,000+ fishermen on the north shore of Java, Indonesia collect ocean plastic as by-catch. The plastic is cleaned and sorted before processed and the PET portion of the by-catch is shredded into pellets, while all the other recovered plastics are discarded in the most sustainable manner possible. The PET pellets are turned into a robust yarn and ultimately into a polyester fabric which is waterproof thanks to an innovative BIO-PU coating and the foundation for each GOT BAG.
Shipping & Returns
Orders are generally shipped within 3 - 5 business days using USPS Priority Mail with free shipping for most U.S. orders over $150. If you are ordering bulky and/or multiple items that do not fit into one standard USPS shipping box (such as large coats or boots), you will be notified at checkout of a flat rate $27 shipping charge, regardless of your total of online purchase. We do not ship outside of the U.S. at this time.
